Bethesda Magazine

Bethesda Magazine offered me my first professional experience as an art director—assigning photographers and illustrators and designing editorial pages for all sections of the magazine. After interning for two semesters, I was the art director's first call when a design position opened in her department. I jumped right in to the relentless production schedule, also handling all advertising sections and assisting in the design of marketing materials. In this position, I continuously raised expectations for accuracy because my detail-oriented nature ensured that I could handle all tasks quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality.
