American Literary Magazine
American Literary Magazine, also known as AmLit, is American University's student-run literary magazine. AmLit is comprised of poetry, short stories, photos, art, and film submitted by the campus community. I was appointed to be the design editor in my freshman year, and I assembled the biannual publication and created marketing materials until my graduation. During my years in this position, the magazine was awarded a Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press (2012), an Apple Award from the College Media Association (2012), and first place for Promotions & Advertising in the Michigan State Society for News Design's annual contest (2014).
